Urbana, N.Y. — Bernard Gene Buck born on May 19, 1964 in the town of Urbana, NY passed away suddenly at home on May 2, 2011.

Bernard graduated from Avoca Central School in 1982 and attended SUNY Geneseo for Language Arts. Bernard loved to cook and enjoyed good food. He had a huge heart and had a special love for animals, especially birds and cats.

He leaves behind a loving family; parents George and Lucille Buck of Wallace, NY; brothers and sisters: Karen (Leo) Downey of Farmington, NY with children Terry, Theresa, Kathy, and Kevin: Ronald (Donna) Buck of Ft. Valley, Georgia with children Bruce and Kelly; George Buck of Pittsford, NY with children Angela, Adrian, and Leslie; Cindy (Delbert) Sheard of Lufkin, Texas with children Jason and Colbert; Jeffrey Buck of Lufkin, Texas, Margaret Parsels of Elmira, NY with children Regina and Rachel; Roger Buck of Avoca, NY; Matthew Buck of Rochester, NY; Gregory Buck of Avoca, NY, eight great nieces and nephews, aunts Virginia Buck of Hammondsport, NY and Joan Buck of Bath, NY, and several cousins.

A memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church in Bath, NY at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6th.
