Do you know where your Buchalter family originates in Eastern Europe? I have done extensive work on Buchalters in the US and Israel. About half of them originate in Selets, near Bereza, in what is now Belarus. That is where my Buchalter ancestors came from. If you could give me some leads, such as family names, town locations, etc., I may be able to help.
