This is the first time to start a family tree. So any advice would be appreciated. I have a picture of my great great grandmother, Mary Prino Bua who died 1/1/1928 and is buried in Dickinson Texas. She is with her two sons. The picture was taken in Palermo, I am guessing late 1840's. She had a daughter Carmella Bua in 1873 (I believe in the states), who had a daughter Angelina Theresa Vitanza in 1909 in Dickinson Texas. Any info by E-mail would be wonderful.

Your ggm, Mary Prino Bua is also my great grandmother. The two boys in the picture is my grandfather, Mike Bua and his brother Ciro Bua. My mother Camilla Bua Coghlan is one of Mike Bua's daughter.

Carmella Bua lived in Dickinson Tx and married Nick Vitanza (I think his first name was Nick). Carmella had several children and her oldest daughter is Angelina Vitanza - Angelina married a Meneotti (sp) form Dickinson. Carmella had a sister that settled in California (I think her name was Rose) Hope this helps.
