I know that my heritage goes back to a Benjamin Bryant (a Cherokee man), with the date 1785 (which I'm not sure if it's date of birth or death, and I'm not having much luck finding out which it is). My mother, grandfather, and so forth are all registered with the tribe. I'm trying to find information on who he married, and who his parent's were. I also heard from my grandparents that we go back to Georgia. I would really appreciate it if anybody might have any information, I'm looking to try to trace my heritage back further and fill in some missing pieces, and maybe find missing relatives along the way.
