My G.Grandfather Louis Bryant, I don'feel is your Lewis. The name was spelled differant.
What I learnt was my Family worked their way from Scottland to Irland to Jamaca to America.
Through Ohio, Indiana,Illanois,Tennessee,Kentucky,North and South Carolina, Georgia,Louisiana, across to Texas.
Along the way we married into Native American Tribes. Most Bryants for some reason were on the run. Some had been in prisons in other countiesand here in the States. I know my Great Uncle Roscoe, went to prison for killing a man. My own father served time for robery. We learn a lot about our skelitons, so be ware of opening pandas box.
