Just uncovered the Bryan/Boone connection while working on my Bigelow line.

I am using the book "Missouri Pioneer Families History" written in 1876 by William S. Bryan.

Question is does anyone know how reliable the info is? The family history of the Bryan's is written in a narrative which for me is rough to follow but unless I am reading it wrong it has the father of Rebecca Bryan (who went on to marry Daniel Boone) as being William Bryan, who settled in Roan County North Carolina, and not Joseph. It notes Rebecca's mother as being Sally Bringer who was of German descent.

Any insight will be greatly appreciated.
