I just returned from Bellagio, Italy (on Lake Como) and saw a headstone there for a Sidney Herbert Brunner. It was unusual so we photographed it. I hoped to connect it to a genealogist. Transcription:

In loving memory of Sidney Herbert Brunner of Winnington Cheshire Aged 23 who lost his life in saving his elder brother from danger of drowning on eighth day of September 1890. His body was recovered from the lake on the tenth and laid here on the following day -- the white flower of a blameless life.
