There seem to be a few Bruces floating around here from Aberdeenshire. Some kind souls have told me that my 8xgreat-grandfather is James Bruce or Bruice of Auchterless, Aberdeenshire, b. abt. 1694.

If anyone is related to any Bruces or Bruices in the Auchterless area, I'd be interested to get in touch with them, or equally if anyone can help me get any further back, I'd be very appreciative!
