I realize this is like looking for a needle in a haystack, but I am trying to find out any information on BERTHA SCHLADOER BROWN, who was born about 1876 in Texas. Bertha had two full sisters, Adelheid (or Adeline) and Minna (or Minnie). Adelheid and Minna married brothers named Reitzer. She also had one half-sister, Agnes, who married a man named Mardorf.

Adelheid Schladoer Reitzer's 1955 obituary says she was survived by her sister, MRS. BERTHA BROWN, of San Francisco, California, but Minna Schladoer Reitzer's 1978 obituary does not mention Bertha as a survivor. Therefore I must assume that Bertha died sometime between 1955 and 1978. Adelheid died in Texas, Minna in Arizona. Agnes' fate is unknown.

Their mother's name was either Marie Catarina or Catarina Marie. Their father, HUGO SCHLADOER, was murdered in Texas in 1891, and I am trying to fill in the blanks on this family's history. They are related to my mother through the SCHLADOERS and my father through the REITZERS.
