I have recently ordered my father's birth certificate and found out his father's name is
Columbus Brower, not Christopher like we have always been told. Columbus
Brower was born in
Oklahoma. He had 6 kids with my grandmother (Geraldine
Crocker). Ronald, Dennis, Thomas, Linda, Erma, and Dianna. My father is almost 63 and the kids are all stair steps down, so maybe 65(deceased), 64(deceased), 63(my dad), 61, 59, 57. I'm really not sure on those other ages, just a guess. I think he just up and disappeared on her for whatever reason within a few years after the last one was born. I don't think
Columbus and my grandmother were ever actually married, but that's just what I've heard, so I'm not sure if it's true or not. He was 27 when my dad was born in December of 1946, so he would have been born in about 1919 or so. Does that sound about right? If it is, you probably have a brother and three sisters living in
California. As well as many nieces and nephews!! I can give you info on the two deceased if you think you are related and want to know. I think family health history is important.
