John Brower 1726-1796 and his brother, Derick(Dirk or Dirck) 1730 settled in what was Queens Co, NY- now Nassau Co in the Rockaways. Most of the families stayed in the area spreading into Christian Hook which is now the town of Oceanside. If you are a part of any of these Browers , get in touch with me and I will give you a few hundred or more Browers.

Peggee,
By any chance do you have a record of Mary Elizabeth Brower who around the middle of the 1800s married George Colville Smith? She appears to have come from the south-eastern part of New York although possibly it was north-eastern New Jersey. I am looking for her family as well as the identity of her husband.. Thanks. My address is (edalnutt@earthlink.net)
Ed.

Hi Peggee,
I'm looking for an Adriana or Addie Brower/Breuer. She was born 1861, the daughter of a Richard and Phebe. Would you happen to have anything on her? She went on to marry an Orville Watkins c1881.
Thanks,
Mike
