Shirley. Our wife of Caleb was Mary White the full blood Cherokee//Creek Indian. My husband decended from 2 of Caleb's kids by Mary White. William Roland and Daniel Terrill, which one of their kids do you come from. Have quite a bit of infor if you need it.
As for the 2 Calebs....There were 2 both born in NC. about the same year. Job's Caleb's birth can be found in the Quaker records of Pasquotank Co. NC. BUT OUR CALEB's birth goes by the 1850 census age and subtracted. Job's Caleb died and his estate rec. can be found for 1831. and as All of us know our Caleb was still alive in 1850 in Ark. Our Caleb went from NC to SC and served in the War of 1812 as did his brother Ezekial. He then shows up in St Clair co AL. Story has it he went by way of GA and md an Indian Princes who had been left behind as a slave for a family called White, hence Mary White, then they went to Al. Mary White died and he married Mary Henslee and moved to ARK.
