Leenita is right. I have a copy of the Eastern Cherokee Application of Harriett E. Williams Broom. It indicates her parents were Henry Williams and Sarah (Louisa aka Lue) Mansfield, not James and Drucilla Williams. Henry born Georgia and Lue born So Carolina. It also includes their Indian name of Kelly. Harriett states her father died in 1895 and her mother in 1896. Harriett lists her siblings also. She goes on to state her Grandparents were James and Cornelia Mansfield, and William and Sarah (Sallie)Williams, also lists the children of James and Cornelia Mansfield's children
