Hi,

I'm trying to find more out about Joanna Brooks b. 1827 and her father Edward Brooks b. circa 1805 both from Berkshire, England.

I found Joanna via her marriage to Joseph Hussey/Huzzey in 1850 and they went on to have Esther Hussey the same year.

Her father is listed as Edward Brooks here but in the 1841 census, the only Joanna Brooks I can find is living with a family called Oliver. But on various (arguably unreliable) trees on Ancestry, people are connecting Joanna to a Edward and Elizabeth Brooks and listing a Joanna Maria Brooks plus 4 sons - but I personally can't understand how they've joined the dots here - why this Edward Brooks from Berkshire? Where has the record of Joanna Maria come from? I can't find a birth/christening/baptism for Joanna.

I can't find any record connecting this particular Edward to Joanna so I was wondering if anyone could give me any further info on how these two are connected?
