I'm looking for information on a David Briggs who was born Jul 1808 probably in Maine. His death record says his birthplace was Woodstock, ME, his son's says his father was born in Bethel, ME, and various census records, etc. list Saco, ME and Vermont as other possibilities. He married Mary C. (Brackett?) b. ca. 1810 in Portland, ME. They moved to East Boston, and had at least 4 children, Annabelle (Kingsley), Mary B. (Glover), Caroline B. (Wilder), and Charles F. Briggs. David died in Boston 9 Apr 1858 age 49 yrs., 9 mos. of dropsy. His parents are listed as Luther and Lydia.
