Me and my mom, Geraldine Brigance, took dna tests over on Ancestry. There is at least one match with Elizabeth Claybrook, who is the wife of William Brigance and the parents of James, Robert, William C., etc. Our dna matches confirm that Elizabeth was the mother of James, even though the genealogy book says he had another mother and William was married before Elizabeth. Just wanted to let you know in case you were descended from him.
