This is your good day. I am Alan Bridgeman MacIntyre. Yes, I am a great grandson of Andrew Bridgeman whose father was the Thomas Bridgeman you wrote about. He married Hannah Eastmond before leaving England. I have a marked up (for next edition) copy of one of Thomas's books and some catelogs. I was in Abdingdon in 2000 and called several of the Bridgemans but got no responce.
My grandfather's MacIntyre Buiilding, built in 1892, is still at 874 Broadway at 18th St where the greenhouses were. The Bridgeman Horticultural Establishment buildings, 876 and 878, were replaced with "Ladies Mile" buildings before 1900.
