Richard Gardner Brey, 81, of Rancho Bernardo died Friday. He was born in San Francisco. He was a pilot in the Navy. Survivors include his daughters, Robin Brey of San Diego and Torry Metrovich of Rancho Santa Fe.; son, Rick Brey of McCall, Idaho; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
