Plattsburgh — Carolyn M. Bressette, 57, of the Blake Road, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
She was born in Willsboro, July 13, 1944, the daughter of Leo P. Sr. and Emily Mae (Riley) King.
Mrs. Bressette was not only a daughter, sister, grandmother and mother, most of all she was an honest and true friend.
She volunteered for a time at St. Vincent DePaul in Peru.
She enjoyed fishing and playing bingo.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Dorien L. and Patrick A. LaDuke Sr. of Mooers, Christine "Chrissie" and Brian D. Waite of Gansevoort and Sara J. and Robert G. Duval of Plattsburgh; one son and daughter-in-law, Donald H. Jr. and Melissa J. Bressette of Plattsburgh; six grandchildren, Jessica M. LaDuke and fiancé, John Juneau, Patrick A. LaDuke, Jr., Savannah L. Neuberger - Waite, Ryan R. Duval, Brandi M. Duval and Tyler J. Bressette; one great-grandson, Brady J. Juneau; her former spouse and friend, Donald H. Bressette Sr. of Keeseville; two brothers and one sister-in-law, John King of Arlington Heights, Ill., and Leo P. and Sylvia King of Keeseville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Harriet and Eugene Robare of Willsboro and Mary and Robert Hanley of Keeseville; and several nieces and nephews, relatives, and close friends.
She was predeceased by her parents; three brothers, Leonard King, Lewis King and William King; and sisters, Barbara Archer and Elizabeth Hart.
There will be no public calling hours. A gathering will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Sara Duval, on Blake Road in Plattsburgh.
Arrangements are with the Hamilton Funeral Home in Peru.
