I am looking for information or surviving relatives of comeidan El / Elmer Brendel. He appeared in many films at Fox in 1930's and did a string of shorts for Columbia in the 1940's as well as many TV shows. He was married to songstress Flo Bert / Brendel. Most of the records I found come from The Pennsylvania area, but Brendel moved to California in the late 1920's.

I have relatives who are also Brendels, however I don't see any direct connection other than that they also lived in Pennsylvania (Carbon County) and approximately the same dates. It is possible they were cousins however I have immigration records and I did not see others coming at the same time.
