I am trying to get information on my ancestors. My great grandfather was Joseph Breaux married to Cleonise; they lived on a farm in Welsh, LA? Their daughter Genieve was my grandmother, she had a sister named Laura and a brother named Monet. From what I have found out he (Joseph Breaux)was shot and passed away at a young age and of course as was expected during those times, his wife never remarried. Does anyone have any information? Any information would be helpful since I am very new at this.
