Bonjour Ronald,
I have in my database an Alcide BREAUX, born 3 mar 1909 who died 11 jan 1980 and was buried in Gray LA (St. Bridget Cemetery), son of Aurelien Dolza (Dorza) BREAUX and Victorine SONNIER. I have however no marriage for this Alcide.
Try to find your grandfather's marriage place to get a copy of his marriage certificate or a photocopy of the parish register's pages where it appears to be sure about his parents. You might also find some details at his burial site about his burial, death, marriage, spouse name, children, parents maybe ... ?
If this is the right line, then I can help you all the way to the first ancestor that came to North America in the 17th century.
Au revoir,
