Does anyone have info on Mordecai Brattain. His wife was Matilda Huffman and they were married in Butler Co. Ohio in 1847 and had the following children: Malinda, Ann, Henry, Milligan, Rachel, Nancy, Rosa, Robert and Ella. I am trying to establish a link to the Brattains on Randolph Co. North Carolina who migrated to Indiana in the early 1800s.
The only evidence I have in this connection is the Mordecai's son Milligan whose first name is same as the maiden name of Mordecai's great grandmother's Mary Milligan who married Robert Brattain.
