Well, I'm not sure if there is more than one Brasuell family; like one Brasuell family isn't related to the other Brasuell family. But my last name is Brasuell, but everyone on my mom's side that's a Brasuell lives in Texas except for my aunt who moved to Oregon last year.

I am not sure. I lost touch with all the Brasuell's after my father's funeral when I was just 9 years old. (1994) If Dee had brother's named: Frank, Roger, Jimmy, Jackie and a sister named Donna then yes.

I had seen that census and did not notice, I can assure you that Johnnie was female, she also had 3 daughters and 2 sons. She was a sweet person, yes, if you would not mind, I would like info on Eva Steele, I will pass it on to her daughters and put it in my file also. Both Johnnie and Troy are deceased. As I said in my earlier message, the BRASUELL line is a co-lateral line in my research.
I do not have anything on William Jackson BRASUELL's ancestors. I found several possibles in the 1880 Arkansas census but the info on where Jack's parents were born makes it very difficult to determine who they were.
If you can locate his death certificate, it might give the names of his parents. You could try the Comanche Co., TX court house since he passed away in Comanche Co.
I can help with Eva A. STEELE's ancestors if you are interested.
By the way, the 1930 Nolan Co., TX census shows Johnny L. Brasuell as a son not a daughter. See Below.

John Calvin Brasuell is my husbands father, Willilam Jackson is his grand father.
Johnnie Lois is a female and the other daughter is Bobbie Lee , they have both passed away.
I have just started on this side of my husbands father, any information that you share would be greatly appreciated past William Jackson Brasuell.
the only members of John Calvin's family alive is my husband Jackie Wayne and his younger sister, Linda Kay Miller.

After Eva died, Calvin married Katie Lee HAMILTON b. 6 Jul 1911 TX, d. 30 Nov 1990 Nolan Co., TX. I show they had at least one daughter, Robie L. BRASUELL b. Apr 1930 Nolan Co., TX. The daughter's name might have been Bobbie, not Robie. Either way, I figure her name was probably Roberta.

All I know about Chester is that I found him the BENOIT family tree married to Eva Tennessee BENOIT. Perhaps there a connection though, my friend had a brother named Troy. He passed from an accident when he was a very young man. I'll just keep looking. What time frame is this Joseph in? I think her Joseph and Nancy (A.K.A. Nellie) HALL were born in the early 1840's . Hey, I think there are quite a few of us out there! I am your Aunt Norma Sue's daughter, so we are first cousins. I am the youngest of the family, so I am not sure if we met before or not. your dad is my husbands uncle he has not seen or heard from them since jackie passed and that was about 10 years ago he only spoke to jerry don. i dont know much about the brasuells since randy{my husband} dad [ william] passed when he was about nine ive never met any of the brasuells except for randy and his brothers and sister. if you have any info we would like to know lynetta brasuell

William Braswell, born abt 1821 VA was married to Elizabeth ___, born abt 1826 TN. William did serve in the Civil War. They had at least one child, Mary E. "Mollie", born abt 1845 TN who married Jeffrey Phillips. This family moved to Lawrence Co., AR in the 1860's. Parents may have been John Braswell and Martha Elizabeth James. Hopefully we are related. Possibly the family I am looking for was in Berryville Arkansas (Carroll County?) in the 1870 Census. They list Sam, Phebia, Zacharia, Elizabeth, Aaron, William, Nancy, Martha Ann, Sarah Jane, Phebia, William L., Eliza, and Caldonia.

My great grandmother was Eliza Brazell who was born about 1863 in MO, deceased before 1890 in Scott County MO and is buried in the Brazell/Hart Cemetery in Sikeston MO. She had two children prior to her early death. She was the first wife of Thomas Jefferson Twity. She might have come from Pleasant M. Breazeale and Jane McMullin since they lived close to the Twitty's in Sikeston MO. Their children were: Washington, Minerva, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Martha, Emeline, Jaine, and Thomas.
