If he is the same Seymore C Brasher that came from AL that the other poster gave information on, I have information on his ancestry (back 6 generations). Seymore C Brasher (b/1854 d/1863 in Civil War) was in the military, but to date I don't have information on his company or enlistment. I also don't have knowledge that he went to TX, but the dates and spouse given by the other researcher (who provided his children) seems to prove a match. I will be happy to send some email on his ancestry via email or snail mail.
