This is what I know about Moses Brangan/Branigan. He was of
Carrickfergus,Antrim and was the son of William Brangan/Branigan no mother's name or siblings known at this
date.He married Charlotte Douglas dau of William on 25 Oct
1853 in Ahgohill, Ballymena, Antrim, Ire
He was the Head Constable of the RIC (Royal Irish Constabulary) (Irish Police)about 1846 and upwards. He and
his wife Charlotte Douglas Branigan had a very large family
in the Ballyratican/Ballyratigan or Dervock area near Ballycastle, Antrim,Ire. Their children's names were:

and Annie Branigan, and James. Their birth dates range from:1854 or 1864 to 1872. The known intermarriages into
this Branigan family are:McGregor, Moles, Scarlet,McLees.
I figure that Moses Brangan/Branigan might have been born
about 1828-1833. His father William could bave been born
about 1800 to 1810.As far as I know to this date, they remained in Ireland except for their daughter Martha who
marrried James McGregor son of James McGregor of Ramoan,Ballycastle, Antrim,Ireland in 1887.They came to the
USA and lived in Long Island City, Quees, NY and then moved
to Phila, PA. They had 3 children: James and Sarah who died in NY and Charles who continued to live in PA
