Looking for any information on La Faite (Lafayette) Brandon, born about 1874 to Melvin Bremer Brandon, son of Rev. James C. Brandon, grandson of George W., and great-grandson of Christopher Brandon. I have his daughter , Ruth Marie, listed on her birth certificate as daughter of Faite Brandon and (?) Kinsey, but her marriage certificate and death certificate list her mother as Iris Clary, who was married to La Faite. His name spelling often varies. Faite and Iris divorced sometime between 1925 -1929 due to census of 1930 list him as divorced and living with his parents. Still trying to work out who this Kinsey person is or there was a miss print of mother's name. I don't have a marriage date for Faite and Iris, but they had two more children, both sons, one born in 1923 and the other died at or just after birth, having passed between 1918-1920.
