I was born in this city, and I'm a descendant of this Joseph Brandl. This family came to Brazil from Eisenstrass, close to the bavarian border. I also research the Zipperer family, which came to São Bento from Flecken, Bohemia.

I think not.. my Joseph Brandl was born around 1833 in Eisenstrass, married to Anna Schweinfurter, son of Michael Brandl and Margareth Mundl. Is this Joseph you mentioned from that region? Maybe there's a relation.

We have a Joseph Brandl, born about 1820 in Eisenstein, AU (today known as Zelezna Ruda, CZ). Eisenstein is right on the German border. I do not know who Joseph was married to, but his son Michael born 16 May 1844, was my Grandfather Anton's Father.
