I have a Michael Brandl who was 1st married to Dorothy Hoelze. Had 4 daughters-Catharine b.10-28-1839,married George Brendel, Barbara b.4-12-1842, married James Stahl, Anne b.4-2-1845, married George Soeller, Anne Ursula b.?, married John Horn. Michael Brandl was 2nd married to Anna? in 1880 census they were living in Glencoe, IL with his children Joseph b-1870, George b.-1872, Michael b.-1874, Paul b-1876 and Anna b-1879. Michael Sr. was 65 on this census. Children by 1st marriage were all living in Hamilton Co. Il by 1880 with their own families. I know Usurla Brandl came to US 9-28-1868 from Kaltenthal, Bayern Germany.
Catharine Brandl Brendel is my GG Grandmother.
