looking for Antone and daugther Anna Brandel they were married in City of Oconto, Wi oct 1, 1885 according to obit Anna was born in Manitowoc, Wi.

I'm Erin Brandel Dykhuizen. Brandel is my maiden name. My father is Michael John Brandel of Appleton, WI. My Grandfather was Herbert Victor Brandel (lived and died in Manitowoc, but was born on a farm outside of Manitowoc), and I believe his mother was Anna Brandel. Grandpa Brandel died in 2001 in Manitowoc, I think his mother died in the late 80's/early 90's -- I didn't know great grandma well at all.
If you want more info, I can ask my dad for more exact dates. Antone sounds familiar, two. I'll have to go look at some of the old photos.

Thanks for the info , I am willing to listen to any thing as this has been a dead end. there are no recorded deaths of anton or his wife catherine. Anna was married in Oconto in 1885 and the Brandels there are related but how?

So, I checked the records I have, and it turns out that Anton and Anna were not on the Brandel side, but the Benishek side of my family. I will still ask around and let you know if I find anything.
