My name is Cale Glenn Brandal. I was born in 1979 in Bozeman Mt.I am looking for Brandal relatives. All I know is my grandpa's and dad's names. My grandpa was named George Clayton Brandal, last I heard he was living in Bandera Tx. I don't know if he is still living. My dad's name was Glenn Clayton Brandal, I know he is deceased. My mothers name was Kathy, her maiden name was Chadburn

I was born in Florida in 1972 to Kathleen Mack, was told Donald Brandal was my father, I have never met him. Was told by my grandmother he had a daughter named Michelle.

My name is Maureen Brandal. I am looking for relatives to correspond with. My father was born in Brandal Norway in 1920, his name is Rolf Brandal, he came to the USA I believe in the 1940's and married my Mother in New York City. Then they moved to Seattle Wa. USA with his brother Eistien and sister Motta, all from Brandal Norway. And they opened up a fish market in Ballard in 1962. Ballard is a Scandinavian section in Seattle Washington. Since then they have passed on, leaving me and my brother Paul and our Mother and one grandson Nathan which is my son. Eistien and Motta also have grown children and grandchildren all descending back to Brandal Norway. We all live in the Seattle Wa. area, and are very anxious to contact the Brandal family. BRANDL - one of the spelling variants

Hi,

most of you are certainly aware of the fact, that there are lots of spelling variants for Brendel.

For those who aren't, let me draw your attention for instance to the BRANDL message board at http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/board/rw/Surnames.Brandl But of course there are several more query boards and mailing lists for variant spellings out there.

My own family's name, BRANDL, goes back quite a long time. But when I dug out the father of my last known BRANDL ancestor, what a surprise: His name in the books was PRAENDL, born in about 1717.

I am trying to find the man that was with my mother in 1967 in Ohio. Her name is Martha Brandal born Aug.28. His first name could have been Roger don't know the last name. There seems to be a link. My grandmother says that Lester was my grandfather's brother, there were also William and Charles. Lester was in WWII. Hattie was my mother's grandmother. My grandmother always said she was a stubborn ole englishwoman. If you have the ability to send some of those photos over the web it would be great. Jami

I would be pleaed to have any information that you have. Due to the early deaths of by grandfather and several of his brothers, family information is small. I belive there is a link with Samuel Brandal, I see that he married an Elizabeth Kaufman (spelling). I have also learned some of the Brandals also came from England. Any new information would be appreciated. Jami
