I'm looking for information on Richard (Travis) Bradshaw's biological father; I know Richard was born on September 26th, 1844 in Newton Moore, Cheshire, England. His mother is Elizabeth Bradshaw, born 21 Jan 1824 in Whitefiled, Prestwich, England. For unknown reasons Elizabeth and Richard left England on the Marshfield 8th of April, 1854 and landed in New Orleans. Elizabeth died en route to Utah, leaving Richard alone and an orphan. He settled in Lehi, Utah and married Mary Ann Bone (5 october 1848 - 02 January 1872). They had three kids together; Richard William, John Franklin and Clara Jane. Richard was 27 when he pierced his foot with a rusty nail and later died. Richard changed his name to Richard Travis Bradshaw after apparently learning the true identity of his father from his mother on her deathbed, but never told anyone who it was. All he ever said was that he would go back to England and 'claim his fortune' but he took the secret to his grave. Richard Travis Bradshaw is my 3rd great grandfather. Any help would be appreciated.
