My line comes from Thomas (Jr) 1787-1879 who married Francis Epperson to John who married Martha Hicks to Thomas who married Sarah Large to Robert S who married Sena Perry to my GF Jack then my dad Cecil and then me and my brothers.
What was passed down here was four brothers had came over together but I can find no record of that. Thomas and Sarah were the first to come to Carter County which I have learned that Sarah's parents had moved here. There also appears to have been some type of family squabble over land that may have encouraged that move. I have been looking for the link that brought us to SW VA and haven't found it. The good thing is being close to the original area t be able to find documents in the court houses. I have a DNA kit in will share if I get anything from that.
