I'm curious to know if you happen to know the biological father of Richard Travis Bradshaw, born 26 September 1844 in Newton, Moore Cheshire, England to Elizabeth Bradshaw (21 January 1824, Whitefield, Prestwich England - June 1854 Nebraska, USA). Elizabeth and Richard left England under unknown circumstances on 8th of April, 1854 and landed in New Orleans. Elizabeth died en route to Utah leaving Richard alone and an orphan. He finally settled in Lehi, Utah and married Mary Ann Bone. Together they had three children; Richard William Bradshaw (1868-1948) (my 2nd GGF), John Franklin Bradshaw (1869-1941) and Clara Jane Bradshaw (1870-1945). Richard Travis Bradshaw changed his name from Richard Bradshaw upon apparently learning the true identity of his biological father from his mother on her deathbed; always talked about going back to England to 'claim his fortune' but he never told a soul who his father was.
