Bertha (Merris) Bradley died April 30, 2004 in Canon City, Colorado. She was born May 7, 1920 in Rico (CO?) to Edward and Mallie McBeth. She was one of four children, Elmer, Louise, and Edward. She had three half siblings Bert, Emmett and Adeline.

She married George Merris in Penrose, CO on June 12, 1937. He preceded her in death in 1966. They had two children Georgia McDowell and Jerry Loflin.

On July 29, 1978 she married H.E. Bradley, who preceded her in death in 1991.

She held various jobs, from grocery owner, waitress to bank teller.

Survived by her children, 3 grandchildren, 3 step grandsons, 4 great grandchildren, 9 step great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and 1 step great great grandchild.

Burial at Lakeside Cemetery, Canon City, CO.
