Benjamin & Mahetable buried a daughter May 11, 1770 in Charleston SC

Documents do reflect that there were three Brackett's in NC prior to the Revolutionary War which lasted from (1775 to 1783)

Benjamin 1st landed in Charleston SC Feb. 5, 1768 he was the Master of the Schooner Lloyd (Brackitt) & got a land grant of (200 acres Tryon Co. NC April 15, 1772) see below.

Grant #187, entry #203 issued at New Bern, NC filed in book 22, page 33 on 21 July 1774. Jno. recieved his grant in 1773, Wards Creek
