james columbus boyatt was my grandfather. his oldest daughter was my mother. he was married to martha jane foster and they had three daughters. nella margaret born mar.1,1922, another daughter jean, who died at age 8, and one living daughter, mary jo. margaret died jan.17,1985. she married lenford thomas smith and they had two daughters. virginia ann, born dec.23,1939 and sue carol, born jan.23,1943. james columbus was born in wayne county,ky. he died in stearns,(mc creary county) kentucky, on my 10th birthday, jan.23,1953. my sister and i spent every summer with my grandparents at their home in stearns. so i have very fond memories. my e-mail address is sch3111@aol.com sue hasty
