Do you know if the Jane Thomas that married Anderson Bowles was a dau of James Thomas and Elizabeth Childers from Cumberland County, Virginia?
According to another researcher, Anderson and Jane Thomas Bowles lived in Cumberland County, Va. and later Kentucky then on to Missouri.
I am trying to verify that this is the same Jane Thomas that was my ancestor.
There were two conflicting wedding dates for Anderson Bowles and Jane Thomas...One was..Feb 10, 1781 and the other was Aug 30 1785.....Which is the correct one?
James Thomas was born between 1703-1733 and died in 1801 in Cumberland County, Va.
I would appreciate more on the Thomas and Bowles connection.....
