Well maybe I have him. If you have him born in 1810 that's a bit early for the Henry I have in mind.
Shaw's Dublin Directory of 1850 only has the two Henry Bowles listed, Henry Bowles, alderman, and Henry M. J. Bowles, Esq., both of 6 Pembroke Street. Your Henry Bowles signed himself as Esquire according to your earlier posting. According to my research the alderman Henry is the father and the Esq. is Henry Matthew John Bowles who was born either 1819 or 1826. So I felt he was likely yours but not if he would have had to have been born as early as 1810. I know quite a bit about these two though if he may be yours. The musician part makes partial sense depending on what year he stated he was a musician. Later in life he was a Reverend and author of several books and hymns but prior to his ordination he well may have been an organ player.
