How, or IS Jerusha BOWLES related to other Bowles families in Virginia?
I have that she was a wife of Captain Samuel MOSBY, and that they were married Oct. 2, 1755....Virginia.
Jerusha Bowles Mosby was born abt 1717 in Henrico County, Va. She and Samuel Mosby had a daughter named Sarah Mosby(1761-1808).Sarah was said to have married William Grant III.William lived from 1761-1814).
Samuel and Jerusha, also had a son named Samuel Mosby, Jr., that married Jane Robards March 4, 1773..............
