i have found a john h bowen he has ties with grant bowen and amanna younger sister of cole younger from the younger gang. also think this my be the family line that my john bowen came from also found some one that has tie's to one of my dewberry kin as well as to henry bowen and anna moon. herny was the other son of:moses bowen. i was useing my grand mothers family tree when i found the family tree of the bowen family tree dated 1909. on the sumner co. tenn web site, and the family photo book of the bowen's on the knox co.tenn web site why back when. also found a family key to my family as to some thing that happend to my g-grandpa in 1910 and how he died. was told that he was shot in the back. and in 1910 in waco there was a man by the name of :dicky west that was with the dalton gang that was also killed. and as we all know about the younger's and the dalton's thay where kin to each other. and well i don't know but well i think this could be one of thr reson's for why no one can find a tie to my family line of the family tree. what i mean by that is back then if you where a outlaw or any thing like that your family well would not even say that thay where you kin thay would disown you. and mybe the reason for why my aunt said that my g-grand dad's name was:john baron bowen. but he may be:john h.bowen from what i have seen. when i was tolled who he was i was about 5year old.my dad told me his name was:john bowen. my grand mother tolled me the same thing when i was:17teen. when i reasked her she what his name was. the names:william,elizabeth,moses,john,samuel,are some of the names that i was told about when i was a kid. on both side's of my dad's family tree most of the family where name the same in each family.and in every part of the family tree as to some of the family last name's i have found a bowen in some part of it. i had a message on the bord asking if any one had any of the same names in there family's as i do. take a look at it and let me know what you think and if you have any of the family last names in your family tree. also the dewberry family name most of my kin that i have found so far all live down south. and that family name is more heard down south then it is up here where i live. jennifer
