Mary (born 1730), & Patty (born 1750) Bowden, were Indentured Servants to George Washingtons father, and brother. They were born in Westmoreland County Virginia, and Patty was born on Popes' Creek Plantation, which is now called George Washington Birthplace. Our family will have a reunion from July 5-7, on the Campus of Lincoln University, in Chester County Pennsylvania. Lincoln is about 40 miles outside of Philadelphia, in South Eastern Pennsylvania.
