Yes, I too am related to Leocadie Bourgeois and would be interested on any stories or info on her or her husband Augustin Brousseau. I am related through her daughter Philomene. I have researched the tree on that line pretty far back so we could compare notes. Of key interest to me however is info on her parents Joseph "Petit" Bourgeois and his wife Marie Amable Guyon-Lemoine. I have a marriage date for them and that is it. They totally disappeared for me.

Also the 1870 U.S. census lists Leocadie name as "Cadwedusha" was she indeed metis (french & native american) and from what line? The census is under "Agustus Brouss" (took me forever to find it!) Thanks for your help.
