I don’t have too much on them but they were my great, great grand parents through my grandfather, Bayard Alexis de Bourbel de Montpincon. . My sources show that James Christian Collet was born in Bloomsbury, UK in 1818 & died in London in1904. With regard to Edith Ann Humphreys there seems to be a difference of two years in birth depending on what family tree is accessed. The Pearson family tree shows 1826 as does the Priestly de Breton de Bourbel de Montpincon family tree. The McMullen family tree shows 1824 as does the 1871 Census. I noticed also that her name was spelled either Edith Ann Humphreys, Edith Anna Humphreys or Edith Anna Humphrys. I do have a photograph I can send if you like. City of birth was Liverpool.
I can’t find any marriage date but as most of their children were born in India I wonder if they may have been married there.....I really don’t know. I hope this is of some help to you but will keep your e-mail addy in case I locate something else that might interest you....
