Am replying to message on board about Francois Bouley and Ophelia Cormier. You also mention Ophy Bouley. I am Florence(KEGLEY)Johnson Ophy Bouley was one of my grandmother's brother. She was Alice Bouley, married to Telesphore Beard he was better known as Tellais Beard they had 7 children, my mother the oldest Hazel Marie , Watson, Hilda, Ophelia, Malita, Mary Novell, and Ella Vern. Ophelia Cormire's Parents were Don Louis Cormier and Elizabeth Roche (Ross, Roach, Lock and Rock. Francois (FRANK)I have not been able to find any information before him, he had 2 wives, after Ophelia died abt 1912-13 have nothing more about her where buried I have been told she an Frank may be buried in the Arceneaux Cemetery in Rayne but have no proof. Back to Frank he married Leya Dyson I personal grew up around her and all her children in Orange, Tx. Thier youngest daughter Rosie Bouley Peveto is the sole surivor of children from both wives. I have been wanting to go see her to pick her brain, she is getting up in age and must of been very young when her father died, so don't know if she knows much. I am in hopes she does know where he is buried. I started a genology search about a year ago, and am sorry to say all the folks that has answers are gone. Have are you related to Ophy he to I remember well growing up. Most of his children are living in Jennings, La he does have one daughter Verne loving in Nederland and another daughter Yevonne lives in High Island.
