My gggrandfather, Jeramise (Geramise, Jerasigima) Boudreaux was born
in Brazil abt. 1870 (father moved to Brazil after the civil war). He married
Emma L. ? b.abt. 1874 and they had 3 children..Francis b. 1898, Agnes b.1899
and Slyvie b. 1902. Sylvie (my ggrandmother) married Eugene LeBlanc, son of
Philip LeBlanc (descended from the Daniel LeBlanc line) and Eugenie
Schexnayder. They had 3 children: Donald, Alan, and Jean Marie (my
grandmother). Does anyone have any info regarding this line? I am trying to
find Geramise and Emma's parents so that I can trace the family tree. I have
come to a stop since Geramise (George) was born in Brazil and the only info
I have on him was that his family had a plantation, his father served in the
Civil War (I believe) and after the war, his family moved to Brazil. My
grandmother told me that when his son turned 21, he moved back to the states
(didn't know it was her grandfather till I came across records...she never
said who he was). I have no idea if he had siblings, who they were, and if
they even came back to the states. I did find him and his wife and children
in several census records, but I can't find anything beyond that. Any info

Paul Boudreaux (son of Ursin Boudreaux and Oliva Guidry) and his wife Elizabeth (Lizzie) McLerran were born in Texas. Elizabeth's parents (per 1910 Fed census La., Laf.) were born Tennessee (father) and Alabama (mother).

Been searching for several days on the Texas, TN, and AL census records - can't find Paul Boudreaux and his family on Texas census, nor McLerran family. Searching for 1860, 1870, 1880.

I already have the Paul Boudreaux family; I'm looking for any leads on the McLerran family - trying to find this family on the census, in Texas, Tennesee, Alabama.

Looking for any information on a Mabel?? Boudreaux, that married a man by the last name Marcelle. They lived in Houma, La.. The man's first name was possibly Ozania or Ozarrius ( It is hard to make our on the document, that I have.).
They had a son named Almas J. Marcelle, and he was known as "Frog". Frog later was in the army stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia. He lived at one point in Phenix City, Alabama, and in Columbus, Georgia. He married a Willie Mae "Billie" Dunn, in 1940. He and Billie divorced in the "40"'s. He died in California. Any information on his family and his life would be greatly appreciated.

He was born Jan 21, 1884 in Abbeville, La. to the parens of Albert Boudreaux and Elmire Babineaux, he had a brother Theobert (T.J.) Boudreaux who married Elia Landry. Last known address for Albert Leufiad Boudreaux was in San Antonio, Tx. I do know that he was married to Marie Marceau B. Feb 6, 1885. My wife's Great-Aunt Adela ROME married Prosper BOUDREAUX in 1902 in St. James. I'd like to know Prosper's parents if possible. I believe he may have been Camille Prosper BOUDREAUX who was born to Camille BOUDREAUX and Dilia BOURGEOIS in 1878 and was baptized at St. James. At least, this is the only Prosper I can find of the proper age, and he was listed as Prosper, not Camille, in the 1880 census. I can't find the family in the 1930 census. Adela died in 1980 in Paulina, but I don't know anything about Prosper.

Hi all, I am looking for anyone who can help me find a marriage record for Joseph Felix to one Delphine Eleontine Himel about 1892 in Lafourche Parish, LA. All I can find is the marriage to Lena Kelly in 1929 in Calcasieu Parish. I have the actual marriage license for that one, but I am looking for the first one, from this union is 5 issues. In 1947 she was married under the name Oneda Boudreaux to Felix Armstrong in Calcasieu Parish, LA. I have been told that most of my family resided in Lake Charles. Does anyone have information on the parents of Dominique Babin and Marguerite Boudrote? Bona Arsenault indicates Dominique was “probably” the son of Joseph and Anne Landry of Pisiguit, and married Marguerite around 1752. I have no information at all on Marguerite Boudrote. Their son, Joseph, married Anastasie Melancon on February 20, 1778, in St. Martinville, Louisiana.

They lived in New Orleans and they had one child Rilda Augustine Boudreaux who was born on June 11, 1910. The only thing that I know about my great-grandfather is that he was mulatoo. Isma Boudreaux is my husband's grandma. She was born somewhere in Schriever. I know for sure that they also lived on Hwy. 308 in Thibodaux. The home is still there and has been remodeled.

I have in my possession a High School Diploma for a Miss Ruth Laverne Horn. This certificate is from the 1930's. The date of graduation was not filled in but is signed by all parties. The date has 193__ (last day of the year not filled in). Inside of the diploma is an envelope from M.S.C. Athletic Dept Mississippi Southern College, Hattiesburg, MS. I assume that Ruth at one time attended MSC. On the outside of the envelope is addressed to Mrs. Ruth Horn Boudreaux Moss, Mississippi.

Signatures on diploma are: E.J. Horn (President), J.E.Moss (Secretary), L.W. Simmons (spelling hard to read)(Superintendant), and M.E. Overby (Principal).

Email me if you are interested in a copy of this diploma. With proof of relation I will provide the original to a child or grandchild of Ruth's. By the date of 1930's I assume her children could still be living.
