I sort of said the same thing in another way.
There were very set rules of heiredity by the time of My European Ancestors arrival at Plymoth that My native ancestors knew very well but little was recorded. The European ways of leadership and inheiratance became dominant as the Culture of Native peoples eroaded under pressure. The Princess Legends are charming things to have in our family tree's though. I am lucky to HAVE TWO legends
(Sheila Na Geria Princess of Ireland married to a PYE) and Samuel Pye who married Lucy Uncas in America. Both in my TREE. I will give you another name I can trace relatives to Princess Dianna Spencer. I live in Canada where (not far from Chippewa Creek I crossed it today) and have attended Pow Wows where many Nations wear their Crowns proudly. I do not think I am qualified to comment on the legitimacy of ROYAL bloodlines. I should say it is up to each nation to decide for itself who and what makes a Native Royal.
I think we are both saying the same thing in different ways.
