My immediate ancestors and relatives were from Keokuk and Wapello Counties in Iowa. My great-grandfather was John W. Bottorff, born January 3, 1837, somewhere in Indiana, I believe, but not in Clark County. However, he married Jane Reed in August 1857, at Jeffersonville, Clark County, IN. He died January 14, 1905, and is buried in Ottumwa Cemetary, Wapello County, Iowa. I would like to find more information on John W.

Also, I had an uncle named Clell E. Bottorff, born in 1895, and died January 20, 1925. He and his wife, H. Grace Morgan, who died the same date, are buried in Brooks Cemetery, Hedrick, Iowa. There had six children: Frances, Louise, Helen, Clell, Jr., Earl and Jack. It possible some of these children are still living or else some of their children or grandchildren.

Finally, I had a half-brother named Richard Bottorff who was born about 1922. He had a daughter named Sandy. I do not know of he had any other children. He was killed in a traffic accident in California in the 70's.

Any information anyone could provide about any of these people would be greatly appreciated.
