Would like to share information & compare notes on Nicholas BOTTORFF, who is found on 3 census records at Washington Co, Indiana 1850-1870. He is with wife, then believed to be married Elizabeth Baker who he married 1849, but earlier probably married George Persinger. Also believe Nicholas had an earlier wife, Mary Polly WINKLLES (sp?), with whom believe he at least 7 children, born between 1830-46:

The 1850 census shows some of these children with he and 2nd wife, but also 4 Persinger children, born between 1837-46:

Then it appears Nicholas BOTTORFF had the following children with 2nd wife, Elizabeth between 1850-57:

James Franklin
