Hi Frank (and Marj),
I found a book a few years ago in Bristol's Grundy Library (same book, Frank?). It contains many Booz figures from the latter half of the 1800's.
It mentions Bristol Council members that include:
Valentine Booz 1852-1854, 1856-1858
Frank N. Booz 1886-1887
Valentine as one of the first officers of the Bristol Fire Company #1 (1857)
Frank's lamp store in the McMillen Building on Mill St and the oil route he ran (1875-1880)
Bristol High School building dedication given by Matilda Swift Booz-Superintendent (1894)
The book also mentions the death of Matilda and a photo.
Naming of William H Booz as member of property committee of Bristol HS 1908
Dedication of Memorial tablet for Wm H Grundy given by School Board Director William H. Booz 1911
Mention of Mrs. Mary Vanzant, wife of Abel Vanzant and sister of School director William Booz.
